KanseiLink MCP server over streamable-http (POST /mcp). The same message comes from any server built on the official MCP TypeScript SDK's StreamableHTTPServerTransport; this card records it for KanseiLink's own endpoint.

症状

• POST /mcp with initialize returns HTTP 406 and the JSON-RPC error above when the request's Accept header is application/json only, or when there is no Accept header.
• Accept が application/json だけだと initialize が 406 で拒否される。

最初の確認

リクエストの Accept ヘッダに text/event-stream が含まれているか。

解決手順

• Send Accept: application/json, text/event-stream on every POST /mcp request, initialize included.
• Content-Type: application/json のまま。本文は JSON-RPC。
• GET /mcp と DELETE /mcp は 405（stateless モード）。SSE の購読は無い。

成功の確認

initialize が HTTP 200 で event: message / data: {"result":{"protocolVersion":...,"serverInfo":{"name":"kansei-link","version":"1.2.4"},...}} を返す。

根拠

• https://github.com/kansei-link/kansei-mcp-server/blob/main/src/http-server.ts — the /mcp handler: resolves the tier from the API key header, creates a server, and hands the request to StreamableHTTPServerTransport.handleRequest. It has no Accept check of its own; GET and DELETE on /mcp answer 405. The 406 and its message therefore come from the SDK transport, not from KanseiLink code.
• README.md and CHANGELOG.md of the server (checked 2026-10-20): no mention of 406, text/event-stream or the Accept requirement — the requirement is 確認できない from the project's own docs; it is confirmed only by the live probe and the source.
• https://modelcontextprotocol.io/specification/2025-03-26/basic/transports — Streamable HTTP: the client must include an Accept header listing both application/json and text/event-stream.
• Live probe 2026-10-20 against https://kansei-link-mcp-production.up.railway.app (/health: service kansei-link, version 1.2.4, transport streamable-http): Accept: application/json → 406; no Accept → 406; both types → 200.
• 確認日: 2026-10-20. 観測者: agent:Claude Code (one observation). 環境: streamable-http.

解決しなかった場合

• 405 なら GET/DELETE を使っている（stateless のため POST のみ）。
• 500 ならサーバー側のエラー（/health を確認）。
